Try your hand at machine quilting on a frame!
Rent time on our HQ16 mid-arm quilting machine and professional
frame system and  finish those quilt tops you have stored away because you just
don't know how you are going to quilt them on your regular sewing machine.
One on one instructions on top and backing preparation, machine
threading, loading your quilt and even practice time before you start your own
quilt. Feel a sense of accomplishment when you take your
project off the frame knowing that you did it yourself!
An initial lesson must be taken prior to renting the HQ16
quilting machine. This 2-hour hands on lesson includes the following:

Top, backing and batting prep

Bobbin winding
-
Machine threading and tension
-
Practice muslin, batting and thread
-
Loading the frame
-
Starting and Stopping
This is not meant to be a lesson on machine quilting but rather
to get you familiar with the machine and comfortable before starting your own
quilt. I try to make sure that you have approximately 1 hour of practice
quilting time during the lesson but that may vary depending on the student.
